Sao Tome has received financial support to implement its WACDEP program for the period 2017 - 2019. This program aims to integrate water security and climate resilience into the development planning process, increase climate resilience and to help the country adapt to a new climate regime while promoting investment in water security.
The opening ceremony was chaired by the Director of Natural Resources and Energy.
The workshop provided a detailed presentation of the program and sensitization of participants on issues related to water management in the country.
