Stockholm World Water Week takes place from 27 August to 1 September. This year's theme is "water and waste – reduce and reuse". GWP plays an active role in a number of events.

The young parliamentarians acting through the National Youth Parliament for Water and Sanitation (PNJEA) of Benin, have organized on Thursday, October 29, 2015, in Cotonou an official ceremony to present the White Booklet to the Beninese authorities. The 2014 Global Water Partnership (GWP) Consulting Partners Meeting which was held on June 27^th and 28^th, 2014 in Trinidad closed with an Annual Lecture entitled “Climate and Water: Global to Local Caribbean Socio-Economic Climate Change Scenarios” which was delivered by Professor John B.R. Agard.

The eighth session of the learning group in Burkina Faso was held on 28 and 29 July 2015 in the Conference Room of the Directorate General of Water Resources (DGRE). The learning group of Burkina Faso (GAB) is a platform for sharing experiences, knowledge and skills of the water sector actors created in 2011 on the initiative of the Learning Centre on Water Resource Management (RLC-WRM). It brings together NGOs / Associations of the water sector, networks of organizations, development partners, research institutions and state structures. The Country Water Partnership (CWP) Burkina represents the GWP network within the learning group.

The National Adaptation Plan Global Support Programme (NAP-GSP)/GWP Joint Mission aiming at supporting the National Adaptation Planning process in Madagascar and suggesting next steps and actions was held from 9^th to 19^th March 2015 in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

Experts and practitioners gathered in Stockholm, Sweden, on 19 June to discuss the results of GWP-commissioned research on gender equality and inclusion in water management. The aim was to lay the groundwork for broader change and bring about practical steps to action.

“Improving water governance for achieving financial sustainability in the Mediterranean” is the topic of the event organised by Global Water Partnership - Mediterranean (GWP-Med), during the upcoming World Water Week in Stockholm, within the framework of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) labelled project ‘Governance & Financing for the Mediterranean Water Sector’ and with the financial support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
