Organised by SIWI, World Water Week 2024 aims to highlight water cooperation, for peace and security in its broadest sense. The "Zero Drop" water resources protection program, implemented by Global Water Partnership - Mediterranean (GWP-Med) in collaboration with the Municipality of Heraklion, with funding from The Coca-Cola Foundation and Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, 'travels' to Heraklion, Crete and saves 14.5 million liters of water annually by improving irrigation water supply systems at five locations.
