Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2021 takes place as a fully virtual event from 21 June to 2 July. The biennial event connects stakeholders from the global value chain in the water industry to share best practices, policy developments in water and showcase the latest in technological innovations and tap business opportunities.
As a prelude to the launch of the TFTC Phase 2 at country level, CWP-Benin organized on May 26 an information session for the communal actors of Tanguiéta on the content of the project.
The Niger Basin Authority (NBA) held in Abuja from 24 to 27 May 2021 its statutory meeting including the meeting of the: Technical Committee of Experts on May 24 to 26, 2021, the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers on May 27, 2021.
On 2 June 2021, GWP-Med and the Coca-Cola Company were invited to present the results of their 10+ year collaboration on NCWR technical solutions, at the launch event for the GWP report "Mobilising Change: 10 years of climate resilient water investments".
In May 3-10, 2021, CWP-Georgia and CWP-Kyrgyzstan held a meetings round to exchange of experience on two topics: SDG 6.5.1 implementation and transboundary rivers management.
GWP celebrates 25 years in 2021, and we are introducing the anniversary website gwp25years.org. The launch took place in connection to the GWP Regional Days (31 May-3 June), an annual gathering of GWP’s staff worldwide. The new website is a place to capture the collective celebration of what the network has achieved so far, and to look to the future. It is a place where everyone is invited to share messages and where they can be part of the journey to make good water governance a reality for everyone.

El lanzamiento tiene lugar en relación con los Días Regionales de GWP (31 de mayo al 3 de junio), una reunión anual del personal de GWP en todo el mundo. El nuevo sitio web es un lugar para capturar la celebración colectiva de lo que la red ha logrado hasta ahora y para mirar hacia el futuro. Es un lugar donde todos están invitados a compartir mensajes y donde pueden ser parte del viaje para hacer que la buena gobernanza del agua sea una realidad para todos.
