Three IDMP CEE initiatives were developed into case studies for ISEPEI.

Global Water Partnership South Asia (GWP SAS) in collaboration with International Water Management Institute (IWMI) organised the first Webinar using Skype for Business to present the ‘Development of South Asia Drought Monitoring System (SADMS)’ on 30 September 2015.

The national workshop on the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes was organized by the Ministry of Water and Forestry on April 15 to discuss the «Opportunities and Prospects for Côte d'Ivoire". The meeting was attended by representatives of the major embassies in Côte d'Ivoire, the Convention Secretariat, the Parliament, Ministries, Technical and Financial Partners, private companies and civil society.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is hosting a three (3) day national training workshop in St. Lucia on December 7^th – 9^th, 2015 entitled “Building Climate Resilience in the Caribbean Water Sector: An Integrated Water Resources Management Approach.”

GWP Burkina Faso implemented the start-up meeting and first national training workshop on June 16th and 17th to 20th, 2014, respectively in Ouagadougou. The start-up workshop was chaired by the General Secretary of the Ministry of Water, Hydraulic facilities and Sanitation, the Executive Secretary of GWP-West Africa and the Chair of GWP-WACDEP Burkina Faso.

GWP Chair Dr. Ursula Schaefer-Preuss participated in the Sixth Meeting for High-level Experts and Leaders Panel on Water and Disasters (HELP) and the Second UN Special Thematic Session on Water and Disasters in New York, USA, in November.

The seventh session of the Meeting of the Parties to the UNECE Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes took place on 17-21 November 2015 in Budapest, Hungary. GWP was represented with participants from several countries.

From 23rd to 24th May 2019, the Core Team of the Task Force for SDG6 IWRM Action Plan preparation met at the conference room of the Water Resources Commission to finalise the Action Plan and initiate drafting of the related Action Sheets.
