Bratislava, 18 September 2014. Moldavian children have won the „International Danube Art Master 2014“ competition, as the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River and Global Water Partnership Central and Eastern Europe announced today.

The Project: "Conservation of Ecosystems and International Water Resources Management of the Mano River Union" held its 2nd meeting of the Multisectoral Technical Committee (MTC) on Thursday 21 February 2019 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

The project manager participated in the inception meeting for the Adaption Funds (AF) Project at Modern City Hotel in Tamale from 23^rd to 24^th May, 2016, where he shared thoughts on the emerging lessons of local community participation in water governance. This meeting was organised by the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Global Water Partnership-Caribbean’s (GWP-C’s) partner, the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) will host its 2016 Conference and Exhibition from October 24^th – 28^th, 2016 in Trinidad. 

GWP-Med aims at putting IWRM, as well as the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus approach, into practice to help countries towards growth and water security emphasizing good governance, appropriate infrastructure and sustainable financing. In doing so, it focuses on contributing to and advocating for solutions for critical challenges to water security, such as climate change impacts, urbanisation, food insecurity, energy insecurity, ecosystems threats, unemployment, migration, etc.

GWP China co-hosted three thematic sessions under the Asia-Pacific Water Forum (APWF) on IWRM, Water and Food Security as well as Water and Cities at the 7th World Water Forum that was opened on April 12, 2015 in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, Republic of Korea. The GWP China Delegation of 9 members participated in the opening ceremony, sessions and events during the 6-day conference.

GWP's Executive Secretary, Dr. Ania Grobicki spoke during the official opening of the 6th “WACDEP Technical Coordination Workshop” held from the 15th -19th September 2014 at Meikles Hotel, Harare, Zimbabwe. The workshop was hosted by the Zimbabwe Country Water Partnership (ZCWP), under the patronage of Global Water Partnership Southern Africa (GWPSA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Climate, Zimbabwe.
