GWP Malaysia and the Global Environment Centre co-organised a Regional Training of Trainers course on Ecosystem Services and IWRM on 18-21 June 2012. It was targeted to enable greater awareness and understanding on ecosystem management based on a holistic and sustainable manner aimed at empowering relevant stakeholders in Malaysia with knowledge and skills needed to adopt the ecosystem services concept.
The Global Water Partnership of West Africa, whose official abbreviation is "GWP/WA" was established in 2002 by water partners of the west african sub-region. GWP/WA is the regional branch of the Global Water Partnership.
The High Level Forum (HLF) is an unmatched regional event, being the only meeting of Caribbean Water Ministers to date. Up to 45 participants from more than 20 countries participated in the the 3rd annual ‘’International Law and Transboundary Freshwaters” workshop, organized by the University of Dundee on 11-14 June 2012. It was the second time GWP provided support to participants which are GWP Partners and 28 participants were from GWP Partner organizations.
