A collaborative project of International Water Management Institute (IWMI), Global Water Partnership South Asia (GWP SAS) and World Meteorological Organization (WMO)/GWP Integrated Drought Management Programme (IDMP) - ‘Development of South Asia Drought Monitoring System (SADMS)’ organises a Webinar on 30 September 2015 at 10.00 am (GMT+05.30).
The Ministry of Environment, Water and Climate (MEWC) in partnership with the Zambezi Watercourse Commission (ZAMCOM) organised the 1st Zimbabwe Stakeholders Committee for the Zambezi meeting on the 18th of September 2015. Water and Climate Change Programme (WACDEP) Zimbabwe team were among the 33 participants who converged at the Harare Safari Lodge to participate during the meeting.
The goal of the Global Water Partnership South Asia (GWP SAS) is to work towards meeting water challenges through partnerships and promote Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) in South Asia.
On September 22 and 23, 2014, the 2014 China GWP Toolbox Workshop for University Water Education sponsored by the GWPO and GWP China was organized by Hohai University.
From 26 to 31 January 2015, the Chair of GWP-WA, Pr. Abel AFOUDA and the Network Officer for West Africa, Mr. Manuel FULCHIRON were having a working visit at the Regional Secretariat. For the first meeting of the New Year, the Chair expressed his good wishes in the hope that this year will be shining for GWP-WA to support CWP for greater visibility in the countries.
A meeting initiated by the Network for Green Economy and Environment of Côte d'Ivoire (REVE-CI) took place on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in Abidjan by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d'Ivoire. The meetings for the green economy are a framework for exchanges between stakeholders contributing to the development of the green economy and preserving the environment in Ivory Coast. They aim to improve human well-being while reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcity.
