On Friday, April 27, 2018, the Benin Youth Parliament for Water (RB/PMJE), launched the project "My School Is Not a Garbage Can" (MENUP) at Godomey College. An initiative supported by CWP Benin as the technical partner and coach of the RB/PMJE.

Technical Focus Papers on Water Resources Management are publications of the GWP Technical Committee aimed at harnessing and sharing knowledge and experiences generated by Knowledge Partners and Country Water Partnerships through the GWP Knowledge Chain.

Building Linkages for Water Security and Climate Change Resilience in Zimbabwe

Key government institutions such as the Department of Water Affairs, including its parent Ministry, the Ministry of Water Resource Development and Management (MWRDM), played prominent roles at the launch of the Water and Climate Development Programme (WACDEP)in Harare, Zimbabwe, on the 10-11 April 2013, with over 70 stakeholders gathered.

The “Water Integrity Capacity Building Programme for the MENA Region” was officially labelled under the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) framework, during the Senior Officials of the Member Countries’ Meeting on December 4, 2014 at the headquarters of the UfM Secretariat, in Barcelona.

A workshop on the draft document of the Contribution of Côte d'Ivoire to the 21th Conference of Parties (COP 21) was held from August 12 to 14, 2015 in Abidjan. The meeting aimed to exchange and gather opinions and suggestions of actors on the document presented by consultants hired by the UNDP. About 200 people representing public structures, private companies, development partners, civil society have been invited to reflect on the content of the document that has been improved by the contributions. The CWP Ivory Coast took part in the meeting and provided inputs.

The National Consultation Dialogues (NCDs) are organised within the Integrated Drought Management Programme (IDMP), which is undertaken by the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Region of the Global Water Partnership (GWP). 

GWP SA is working closely with a number of partners namely GRID-Arendal and RESILIM in the development of an Atlas of the Limpopo River Basin. This initiative is a basin collaboration initiative known as the Limpopo River Basin of Our Changing Environment.  An initial conceptualisation workshop was held by the partners on the 18^th-19^th August, 2014 at Cresta Churchill in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The workshop brought together 33 participants to share experiences and understand the environmental changes that have occurred in the Limpopo River Basin and conceptualise the development of an Atlas.
