Organised by SIWI, World Water Week 2024 aims to highlight water cooperation, for peace and security in its broadest sense. GWP and its network will co-convene, support and take part in various activities, both within the formal agenda of the Week but also side-events and other conversations outside the venue.

This event showcases various drought management initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean. It brings together experts, policy makers, and scientists who will share how droughts impact and manifest themselves in their respective countries and localities.

The non-state actors’ consultation framework (CANEA) held a workshop to raise awareness among the populations of the Greater Nokoué Communes (Cotonou, Abomey-Calavi, Ouidah, Semè-Podji and Porto-Novo) on the standards to be respected for the construction of sanitation facilities.
