The Third Regional Steering Committee for the DRESS-EA project took place on 12th October 2022, in Nairobi, Kenya. This meeting was attended by a cross section of representatives from the Governments of the four National Executing Entities of the project namely:Djibouti, Kenya, Sudan and Uganda; the Regional Executing Entity which is GWPEA and the representatives of Regional Implementing Entity, which is Sahara and Sahel Observatory (OSS)

Representatives of national authorities, stakeholders and regional institutions from the Mediterranean acknowledged the need for a Strategic Framework for the WEFE Nexus in the Mediterranean’s source to sea continuum at the 1st Regional Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus Roundtable in the Mediterranean organised in the framework of the GEF UNEP/MAP MedProgramme.
GWP-Med and Reckitt’s Finish continue, for the 3rd consecutive year, their successful mission to disseminate water saving practices among island communities with limited water resources.
Between April and October 2023, UN Member States will take stock and report their progress on implementing the integrated water resources management (IWRM) target under the SDGs. GWP, through the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme, will assist countries in facilitating multi-stakeholder consultations to assess and report on their progress on SDG indicator 6.5.1.
GWP-Central Africa is pleased to present to you its annual activity report (in french only) for the year 2022. This report highlights the main outputs of the GWP Network in central Africa at the regional and country (Rebuplic of Congo, Cameroon, Sao Tome and Principe, Chad, and the Central African Republic) levels. Midway into the implementation of GWP's Global Strategy 2020–2025, GWP-Central Africa has made good strides in putting water at the heart of development by mobilizing key actors to seek joint solutions to urgent water and climate adaptation needs in the region.
