The Third Regional Steering Committee for the DRESS-EA project took place on 12th October 2022, in Nairobi, Kenya. This meeting was attended by a cross section of representatives from the Governments of the four National Executing Entities of the project namely:Djibouti, Kenya, Sudan and Uganda; the Regional Executing Entity which is GWPEA and the representatives of Regional Implementing Entity, which is Sahara and Sahel Observatory (OSS)
Since its beginning in 1974, World Environment Day has developed into a global platform for raising awareness and taking action on urgent issues from marine pollution and global warming to sustainable consumption and wildlife crime. The Global Water Partnership Malawi took the conversation on water and sanitation in developing countries to the global stage when it discussed at the World Water Week in Stockholm, the need for WASH project implementers to involve all stakeholders, including project beneficiaries, in the identification of solutions to the challenges being faced.
