Partners discuss the development and implementation of the National Climate Change Action Plan

Global Water Partnership participated at the development partner coordination meeting in Nairobi, Kenya to discuss the development and implementation of the National Climate Change Action Plan (NCCAP) (2018 – 2022).

The basis for the meeting was to ‘Support and Gaps Matrix’ that aims to align and record projects and programs that contribute to identified gaps toward developing and achieving the NCCAP. The main objective was to decide on cost sharing for National Climate Change Action Plan (NCCAP) preparation costing among the Development partners. Participants of the workshop included officials from the climate change directorate (CCD), Development partners (DP), NDC partnership, representative from the GCF, representative from the national treasury, members of the private sector and civil society and the implementing partners (IP). Mr. Peter Macharia, Kenya Water Partnership Chair represented GWP.
