GWP requires the services of Project Development Advisor for GCF Water Project concept notes and proposals. The Advisor will provide advice and review GCF project concepts and proposals in response to GFC National Designated Authorities (NDAs) as part of the GWP Regional Project Preparation Partnerships for GCF Water Projects in Africa, Asia and LAC. The Advisor will contribute actively to GWP
programme development processes targeting the various funding windows under the GCF such as Readiness, Simplified Access Projects (SAP), Project Preparation Facility (PPF), Private Sector Facility and others.
The position reports to the GWPSA Executive secretary, who is also the Head of the GWP Global Climate Resilience Portfolio and will work closely with the other team members of the GWP global climate team based in Pretoria and GWPO HQ in Stockholm. The Advisor will undertake duties on a call off bases as assigned to enhance access to GCF resources.
