A new and much awaited book by the Cornell University, the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future and the Global Water Partnership-Mediterranean was published in September 2014. Stakeholders provied roadmaps for addressing gender issue in IWRM

The Country Water Partnership of Benin (CWP-Benin) organized in June 2012 a training workshop of water stakeholders on gender mainstreaming in the management of water resources in the country. The Thecnical Note develop by the CWP for stakeholders, users and decision-makers has served as reference framework of the capacitiy building session.

Strengthening Regional Cooperation and Resilience in Water Related Disasters

A landmark conference took place on 15-17 October 2014 at Birchwood Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa to enhance discussions between SADC and SADC regional partners such as River Basin Organisations, International Cooperating partners and developmental partners, such as RESILIM, CRIDF and GWPSA on “Strengthening Regional Cooperation and Resilience in Water Related Disasters”.
