A seminar, organized by Global Water Partnership Central and Eastern Europe and University of Ljubljana under the auspices of the Community of Practice on Nature-based Solutions in Water Management invites all to join.
The United Nations system designated 2020 as the year in which most of the indicators under Sustainable Development Goal 6 on water and sanitation were to be updated. GWP, through its SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme, committed to assisting at least 60 countries in mapping out progress on SDG 6.5.1 – the degree of implementation of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). Despite the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, about 2,400 participants in 61 countries were consulted, mostly online.
The Water Resources Commission (WRC), in collaboration with Ghana Country Water Partnership, is undertaking a review of the IWRM Plans for the Tano and Pra Basins.

GWP Pakistan in collaboration with Tayaba Welfare International Association (TWIA), donated 390 “Help to Others (H2O) Wheels” worth of Pakistan Rupees 2.8 million (around Euro 11,700) to the communities who suffer from a lack of safe water in Punjab and Sindh Provinces in Pakistan - belongs to Cholistan and Tharparkar Deserts.
