The Climate Resilience Investment Demonstration Project for Water Security and Climate Resilience under the AIP WACDEP-G Programme was launched on 27 April 2022 at the Hotel Quidata in Tanguiéta, Benin.
In celebration of this year’s International Women’s Day commemorated under the theme “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”, the female staff of the regional secretariat of GWP-Central Africa, took part in a training on good practices of vegetative propagation in agroforestry to promote climate adaptation and build resilience.

World Water Week is a global event that brings the international community together to work towards a more water-wise world. This year, World Water Week was themed ‘Seeing the unseen: The value of water’, and took place 23-25 August (online only) and 28 August – 1 September (online and on-site in Stockholm).
This online session is planned for 10 October 2022. In the 13th installment, we discuss the impact of basin organizations, as specific forms of "institutionalized cooperation", on the sustainable and cooperative governance of shared water resources.
