The national sensitization workshop for stakeholders on the flood and drought risk profile in the Volta Basin of Togo held on 23 to 25 May 2022, in Lomé. This was preceded on 9, 10 and 11 May by the Burkina Faso’s national workshop.
The focus of the program is to implement inclusive, climate resilient water policies and strategies in low and middle-income countries, of which Uganda is among. It is being implemented through a strategic collaboration between GWP, UNICEF, SWA, JMP and WHO

The Assembly of the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government have formally adopted the progressive Continental Africa Water Investment Program (AIP), during its 34th Ordinary Session, held on 7th February in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The Continental Africa Water Investment Programme (AIP) is a pan-African programme transforming the investment outlook for climate-resilient water and sanitation investments on the continent. The goal of the AIP is to mobilise USD30bn in investments by 2030 across Africa, while creating 5million indirect and direct jobs.
