GWP Partners are invited to the Annual Network Meeting of GWP Partners 2020, which takes place online on 21-22 October, under the theme ‘Bringing the Change’.
Abstracts can now be submitted to the 22nd WaterNet/WARFSA/GWPSA Symposium to be held 20 -22 October 2021, under the theme "Integrated Water Resources Management for Sustainable Development in East and Southern Africa".
The Young Caribbean Water Entrepreneurs Shark Tank Competition is an initiative of the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) and was first launched in 2019.
On 27 April, GWP organised a learning exchange on the topic, “IWRM Action Planning to Accelerate Progress on SDG 6”. The event had over 150 participants who shared their experiences on how to accelerate Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) to contribute to the achievement of the water-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A two-day regional meeting to present the floods and drought risk maps and climate scenarios for the Volta Basin was held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on 20 and 22 December 2021 to get useful feedbacks from national and regional stakeholders for their final improvement and finalization.

The strategic course of Turkmenistan is focused on the development of innovative approaches, using digital technologies and forming an ecological culture. The effectiveness of interaction between sectors (government, business and society) and properly built mechanisms of their communication and coordination largely determine the success of national programs. The need of intersectoral interaction mechanisms is determined by national legislation and international obligations of Turkmenistan.
GWP_SEA WAY Programme is planned from 17 October to 2 December 2022. We are calling applications from eligible youth (18-35 years old) from the region to participate to the online training.
