A new Local Water Committee for the Tchoutchoubou micro-basin in the commune of Tanguieta

The Country Water Partnership of Benin has facilitated the setting up on 20 February 2020 of the Local Water Committee (LWC) of the Tchoutchoubou micro-basin in the commune of Tanguiéta, northern part of the country. This activity is part of the project "promoting IWRM in the Mekrou and Pendjari sub-basins" of the phase 2 of the Water, Hygiene and Sanitation Programme (ProSEHA) funded by the German Cooperation GIZ.

IWD 2022: Building women’s capacity in agroforestry to tackle climate change

Overcoming Covid Challenges – GWP 2020 Annual Report is Out

GWP set ambitious goals for 2020, the year it launched its new strategy, which were met by unexpected challenges due to the global pandemic. Nonetheless, the GWP network adjusted rapidly to the new situation, and substantial results were achieved.

About GWP-SEA

Global Water Partnership Southeast Asia (GWP-SEA) is one of 13 Regional Water Partnerships and the oldest network of GWP. GWP-SEA has strong regional networks and partners in all sectors as well as Country Water Partnerships (CWPs). Today there are CWPs in all 8 countries in the region, namely Lao PDR, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia.
