GWP is strongly positioned at Stockholm World Water Week (WWW) 2019 through its involvement in more than 30 events, as well as a launch of its new strategy and other publications. WWW takes place 25-30 August, with this year's theme being "Water for society - Including all".

The second session took place on 16 February on “Ecosystems, International Law, and Transboundary Water Cooperation”. The Mono Basin Authority (MBA) held its Ministerial council on January 15 virtually. This was preceded by the technical experts meeting with the participation of GWP-WA Executive Secretary in Cotonou from 12 to 14 January 2021.
