The TFTC Project in Burkina Faso is relocating the site of its pilot action from Koankin (Sapone) to Ramitenga (Loumbila). A visit to the new site was carried out on 10 September 2019 by GWP-WA, the CWP Burkina and service providers to review the site in order to consider appropriate solutions. Exchanges were held with the beneficiaries on the various resources and training necessary for the successful implementation of the project through the establishment of a Farmer Field School.
Strengthening partnership with national stakeholders, the chair of the CWP Guinea with Mr. Ibrahima Sory Camara, Coordinator of the National Focal Structure of the Niger Basin Authority (NBA) in Conakry.
GWP Central America is coordinating a series of workshops regarding integrated drought management in Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala, which are part of the project “Increasing Disaster Risk Reduction Capacity due to Floods and Drought and Promoting Resilience in Central America”, financed by EUROCLIMA+.

Reflecting on the current challenging times, with the world battling a health crisis, we asked youth how the COVID-19 outbreak has changed their daily routines in different parts of the world. Organized by the MInistry of Water Resource and Energy and the Cameroon Country Water Partnership (GWP-Cmr), the Republic of Cameroon held a stakeholder consultation on July 23rd 2020 to validate the national report on Sustainable Development Goal indicator 6.5.1 which measures the degree of implementation of Integrated Water Resources (IWRM) .
