A mixture of personal and professional characteristics led Maria Angelica to a career in Civil Hydraulic Engineering: “On the personal side, a strength of character combined with a dose of rebellion and of not accepting the status-quo just because it is what it is. Professionally, something that brings a sense of strength is talent combined with a great technical capacity and professional training. 3rd Regional Partners' Meeting of GWP China opened a new page in addition to 'a regional partnership of GWP' under the witness of the Ministry of Water Resources and the Ministry of Civil Affairs in 2016. From then on, GWP China had an independent legal status titled "China Water Resources Strategic Studies" in Chinese and "GWP China" in English.
