This month, Howard Bamsey began his duties as the new Chair of GWP. The Transboundary Freshwater Security Governance Train continues its journey on 19 October, with an 8th interactive session in the series. The topic for this event is the source-to-sea approach in international water law. It is jointly organised by GWP and Wuhan International Water Academy (IWLA) and it is part of the ongoing efforts to engage more with participants of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for Governance for Transboundary Freshwater Security.
The Expert Working Group on Monitoring & Information Exchange (EWG MIE) was used as a platform for transboundary cooperation to discuss action to address the current threat of decreased water levels in Lake Prespa.
