The Support Package provides guidance and tools on how countries can design and facilitate multi-stakeholder processes aimed at monitoring and reporting of SDG indicator 6.5.1. The goal is to employ SDG 6.5 national monitoring and reporting frameworks to identify, through multi-stakeholder consultations, critical areas for attention that hinder progress on IWRM.
As part of Inter-Regional and South-South Cooperation within the GWP network, Global Water Partnership South America (GWP SAM) in collaboration with Global Water Partnership, Central Africa (GWP-CAf) organized a webinar in Portuguese on November 19, 2020 to introduce the Integrated Water Resource Management – IWRM Toolbox by GWP to partners in Sao Tome and Principe in a bid to find out their IWRM learning needs and preferences.
The Regional Climate Weeks 2021 starts on 3-4 March with “Virtual Regional Roundtables” for all regions that are holding climate weeks in 2021. The regions are Africa (ACW2021), Asia-Pacific and Latin America (APCW2021) and the Caribbean (LACCW2021). The initial roundtables in March will set the scene in terms of regional priorities, challenges and opportunities for climate action.
