GWP and UNICEF have been collaborating since 2014 on the development of a Strategic Framework for WASH Climate Resilient Development with a series of knowledge products to support the implementation of the Framework at regional, national, watershed and local level. Another two publications were launched at Stockholm World Water Week 2017.
On Monday 8 April 2019, at Korea Global Adaptation Week, GWP launched the publication "Addressing Water in National Adaptation Plans – Water Supplement to the UNFCCC NAP Technical Guidelines". The launch event was co-hosted by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and GWP.

From May to July 2018, CWP Benin has done capacity building activities for the users of the artesian boreholes of Mono and Couffo on the introduction to accountability in the management of those boreholes in the framework of the Multi Year Program IV.

Boyla BASSOUROU and Cheick Aboubacar BAMBARA are the two young professionals selected after a recruitment process for professional immersion at the GWP-WA Regional Secretariat since July 2018. After six (06) months each one draws the first lessons from a stay at the Regional Secretariat.
Nine partners from six Central European countries, in a framework of the FramWat project, developed a practical guidance for planning Natural (Small) Water Retention Measures (N(S)WRM) in the river basins.
