All participants attending the GCF Project Preparation Workshop must register using the online registration form. Each form is to be completed individually by only one participant. Related to the GCF, the workshop will focus on building capacity of, strengthening collaboration among, and sharing lessons across the GCF National Designated Authority (NDA), Direct Access Entities (DAEs) and potential DAEs, and water ministries or national water agencies within a country, and across country. Coordination among these national level mechanisms for successful preparation and participation in the workshop will serve as a useful example of similar cross-institutional coordination required to access other climate funds.
The Global Water Partnership-Mediterranean envisions a water secure world. Its mission is to advance integrated water resources management at all levels for sustainable and inclusive growth in Mediterranean countries.
The NCWR programme has positively impacted the lives of 65,000 people in the Maltese Islands by collecting and reusing more than 17 million litres of water on an annual basis.
GWP held its annual Regional Days meeting on 23-25 May in Budapest, Hungary. This was followed by meetings of the GWP Steering Committee, Financing Partners Group, and Sponsoring Partners in Stockholm, Sweden on 11-14 June. All meetings were focused on launching the process for developing GWP’s new strategy.
