The theme of the December 2014 workshop in Pretoria, South Africa, was learning how to plan and execute a campaign. The training was done in collaboration with UN-Water, and the specific campaign we planned was targeted on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the post-2015 development agenda.
Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) under its Water Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) is currently supporting the revision of the Antigua and Barbuda Draft Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Policy and Roadmap in conjunction with its network partner, the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA).

The delegates reiterated the GWP network’s firm support of a dedicated water goal on the post-2015 development agenda. The first consultation workshop of the Water Policy Dialogue in Palestine, within the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) labelled project Governance & Financing for the Mediterranean Water Sector was held in close cooperation with the Palestinian Water Authority (PWA), on 13 November 2014, in Ramallah. With more than 40 key stakeholders from the government; private companies and banks; research institutes and Academia; media as well as the Civil Society actively participating, the workshop marked the official launch of the Policy Dialogue to be conducted by GWP-Med within the period 2014-2015.

GWP Myanmar is using cartoons to explain the concept of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). A new cartoon book in a Myanmar language sets out key messages for an easy understanding of the integrated approach.
