The GWP China WACDEP aims to integrate water security and climate resilience in development planning processes, build climate resilience and support provinces to adapt to a new climate regime through increased investments in water security. By building climate resilience, the initiative will contribute to national social-economic development, coordinate transboundary water cooperation of different provinces, and demonstrate pilot project in delta areas and support safe investments in water and economic development, and achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
GWP Annual Report Files consist of the annual monitoring summary on: progress markers, logframe indicators, implementation of planned activities and self-assessment on progress around critical GWP functions. By wrapping up the annual performance, all RWPs are requested to draft out the the planned set of activities to be implemented in next year. The work plan files consist of context and workplan summary, detailed workplan and budget.
After being registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs as an independent legal organization in March, 2016, GWP China is capable of expanding professional areas.
On November 21 and 25, 2016, the Communications Workshop 2016 of Global Water Partnership Organization and Regional Partnerships was held in Stockholm, Sweden.

GWP China has played its role as a neutral platform for equal communication and dialogues at all levels, promoting IWRM knowledge, raising funds and sharing knowledge of IWRM and contributes to the implementation of the ‘strictest water resources management system’ in China.
