GWP Eastern Africa (GWPEAf) is one of 13 regional networks that make up GWP, an international network that was created in 1996 to foster implementation of integrated water resources management: the coordinated development and management of water, land, and related resources that maximises economic and social welfare without compromising the sustainability of ecosystems and the environment
GWP Annual Report Files consist of the annual monitoring summary on: progress markers, logframe indicators, implementation of planned activities and self-assessment on progress around critical GWP functions. By wrapping up the annual performance, all RWPs are requested to draft out the the planned set of activities to be implemented in next year. The work plan files consist of context and workplan summary, detailed workplan and budget.
On December 2, 2016, the GWP China Hebei’s Partners Meeting and Transboundary Water Security System & Management Workshop were held in Hebei Province, China. It was hosted by the GWP China Hebei, Hebei Provincial Department of Water Resources and Hebei Provincial Association of Elder Scientists.
After being registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs as an independent legal organization in March, 2016, GWP China is capable of expanding professional areas.
