The planet is facing multiple challenges, such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Caribbean Small Island Developing States (SIDS) are vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Haiti, as part of this region, is the most vulnerable country to climate change, according to the World Risk Index. Over the last 34 years, the country has suffered from the effects of droughts, floods, hurricanes, and more. These affect vulnerable communities, including women and girls, children, and youth.
International Seminar on Risk Management of Extreme Flood and Drought Disaster convened 100+ experts from European and Asian-Pacific regions to share their knowledge fruits and attracted 500+viewers flooded into the broadcast studio.

CWP Benin with the water non-state actors framework (CANEA) started a media campaign aiming at raising awareness around the various laws of the water sector. After the vote and the adoption of the law on public hygiene, it is necessary to popularize it in order to make it known to the general public. Though every is meant to know, in reality very few including senior official know about the laws.
The regional project manager #YourFutureYourClimate (TonFuturTonClimat) and the communication officer made field visits to Togo and Benin to monitor the implementation of this project funded by the Government of Quebec, GWP, ISW and its partners.
