The fourth and final workshop within the Integrated Drought Management Programme (IDMP) was held on 21-22 April 2015 in Bucharest, Romania. 

This course will allow all those interested in organising a multi-stakeholder consultation process on SDG indicator 6.5.1, the degree of implementation of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), to fully understand what that indicator is, how it is calculated, as well as both the importance of involving multiple stakeholders and the practical means of involving those different stakeholders.

The 16th WaterNet/WARFSA/GWP-SA Symposium was held on the island of Mauritius at Le Méridien Hotel from the 28 to 30 of October 2015 under the theme ‘Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and Infrastructure Planning for Water Security in Southern Africa’. The University of Mauritius, a GWPSA partner was the lead host of the Symposium. The Symposia has been held annually in the Eastern and Southern African region for the past 15 years to promote interaction among policymakers, academics, practitioners from water and related sectors, and cooperating partners.  

The UN World Water Development Report 2017 (WWDR 2017) will be presented at the European Parliament in Brussels on 6 June. At this event, GWP will be part of a panel discussion on the value of wastewater in the circular economy.

The 7^th SADC Multi Stakeholder Water Dialogue, a biennial activity which provides a platform for regional stakeholders to discuss and share experiences on different aspects of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) will this year be held from the 29^th to the 30^th of September in Windhoek, Namibia. Running under the theme “Watering Development in SADC: The central role of water in driving industrialization” this year's Water Dialogue will focus on unpacking the role that water will play in driving industrialisation in the region.
