Limpopo project research outputs presented at Close-Out Workshop in Venda, South Africa

The Global Water Partnership Southern Africa (GWPSA) together with the Agriculture Research Council (ARC) held a close-out workshop at Khoroni Metcourt in Venda, South Africa on 26 March 2015. A total of 24 people attended the workshop, the majority of whom were direct beneficiaries of the project, the farmers that implemented the Rain water Harvesting on their fields. Other key representatives were from the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) and the Limpopo Department of Agriculture, the tribal authority from Ha-Lambani .

Stories to Watch 2015: Climate and Development

On March 3, 2015, the Workshop on Stories to Watch 2015 was held in Tsinghua University in Beijing which was jointly organized by the World Resources Institute (WRI) China and the Institute for Contemporary China Studies at Tsinghua University. Mr. Rugang  Zheng, the Coordinator of GWP China was invited to attend the workshop.

Demonstrating IWRM as a tool for Drought Resilience in Uganda

AU/AMCOW WACDEP Online Assessment: 3-14 August, 2015

UNITAR and GWP are extending an exclusive invitation to the January 2014 – June 2015 trainees of the AU-AMCOW-WACDEP Capacity Development Programme on the “Economics of Adaptation, Water Security and Climate Resilient Development” programme to undertake the UNITAR – GWP online assessment from 3-14th July 2015.

The assessment is being administered on the UNITAR virtual learning platform (www.learnatunitar.org). Read more
