On Friday, 30 June 2023, the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Secretariat handed over a climate-smart agriculture pilot project to Metsimotlhabe Community Trust in Botswana. Almost 10 years ago, Senegal started a process of updating the water code that dates to 1981. Since a draft revised document is available, the Ministry of Water and Sanitation, through the Directorate of Water Resources Management and Planning (DGPRE), organized a workshop to share this draft law with all stakeholders in the water sector.
