GWP CEE Chair, Prof. Dr. Tjaša Griessler Bulc, will attend the first global conference on freshwater in almost 50 Years in New York from 22-24 March 2023.
Nine countries from the Mediterranean and a plethora of partners have joined forces in one programme that aims to reduce major transboundary environmental stresses in the Mediterranean coastal areas, strengthen climate resilience and water security and improve the health and livelihoods of coastal populations.

Over 100 participants joined the event on the topic of international water law and dispute settlement. The speaker presentations highlighted the complex and long-running nature of international water disputes.
The final evaluation of the support to the youth of the Communal Hygiene and Sanitation Association (ACHA) of Tanguiéta on the production of compost from solid household waste revealed that the training definitely raised the level of mastery of the members of the association on the production and exploitation of various compost.
