December 11-16, 2023, with support from the GWP SEA and GWP China, the GWP Cambodia and Partners and Stakeholders were provided opportunities to explore the IWRM implementation in Yunnan Province and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China.
In April 2023, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) issued an Open Call to Caribbean Journalists, Content Creators, Media Practitioners, and other interested persons to produce a high-quality 5-minute video on Integrated Water and Wastewater Management (IWWM).
GWP is proud to be the lead organisation for this side event at the UN 2023 Water Conference. The event focuses on demonstrating practical approaches to drive cooperation and partnership at all levels in order to help to achieve internationally agreed water-related goals and targets, including those contained in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
September 11, we had the first side-event of the 18th World Water Congress on "How IWRM Adapt to Climate Change and Economic Development" in Beijing, China.
The Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Chad and GWP-Central Africa (GWP-CAf) organized a three-day regional capacity-building workshop for Non-Governmental and Civil Society Organizations, to enable them to sensitize the communities within the Lake Chad Basin area on environmental awareness.
The workshop which brought together representatives of five pre-selected NGOs and CSOs, from the five member states (Cameroon, Chad, Nigeria, Niger, Central African Republic) of the LCBC was held in Douala, Cameroon on June 28th – 30th 2022.
