A delegation from the Ministry of Water and Sanitation (MH/A) of Niger went on a study tour to Burkina Faso from 19 to 23 December 2022. The delegation led by the Secretary General of the MH/A, Mr. Maman Moussa included the Director of Legislation of the MH/A, Mrs. Ibrahima Naleyni Nana Mariama and the Permanent Secretary of the National Action Plan for Integrated Water Resources Management (PANGIRE) of Niger, Dr. Sandao Issoufou.
The 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), which convened in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, from 30 November to 12 December, has now drawn to a close. It was a time for countries to recalibrate climate action, and as a leading authority on water governance, Global Water Partnership was active throughout.

In June 2022, a cohort of young and aspiring water specialists from Central and Eastern Europe will get a chance to experience a week of theory and practice on Integrated Water Resources Management at the Tisza Lake in Hungary.

This report highlights the main outputs of the GWP Network in central Africa at the regional and country (Rebuplic of Congo, Cameroon, Sao Tome and Principe, Chad, and the Central African Republic) levels. Midway into the implementation of GWP's Global Strategy 2020–2025, GWP-Central Africa has made good strides in putting water at the heart of development by mobilizing key actors to seek joint solutions to urgent water and climate adaptation needs in the region.

The Water Changemaker Innovation Awards 2023 is proud to announce the top 30 finalists selected from a pool of innovative and impactful projects dedicated to addressing water-related challenges worldwide. The finalists will be announced during a hybrid event held on the sidelines of the ongoing United Nations General Assembly in New York on Friday, 22 September 2023.
GWP-WA was one of the first institution to show its willingness to support the Mono Basin Authority (MBA) achieve its mandate of sustainably managing the natural resources of the basin by signing a MoU. Communities in the Mono Basin exposed to climate risks, including floods, need their means of adaptation and resilience to climate change to be strengthened through the implementation of the integrated water resources and flood management approach.
