Eng. Mvura is a consultant in strategic planning, strategic management, and corporate governance. A graduate of international water law studies in Israel and South Africa, he is a gender mainstreaming specialist in water resources planning, development and management. He has vast experience in watershed management, water development, management and protection of the finite resource.
He has served as Host / Coordinator for the Zimbabwe Water Partnership and Chief Executive Officer of the Upper Manyame Sub catchment Council in Zimbabwe, as well as having served in the Ministry of Water Resources Development, and the Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA). His award-winning paper, Valuing Water Towards Investment Attraction in Developing Countries, a Case of Zimbabwe- documented the challenges of water sector reform that aims to engage local stakeholders in Integrated Water Resources Management. Engineer Mvura is a member of the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers.
