Alfred is a qualified water resources management expert with over 10 years’ experience working in the water sector.  He has extensive work experience ranging from water resources planning, development, and management, programme and project management, hydrology, GIS, environmental governance, water policy and strategy formulation, catchment management and stakeholder management.

Alfred holds a Masters’ degree in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) from the University of Zimbabwe, a Masters’ degree in Business Administration (MBA) with the National University of Science and Technology, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Land and Water Resources Management with Midlands State University, and other qualifications in GIS and Earth Observation.

He worked as a Hydrologist as well as a Research Officer and acted in various management portfolios at Upper Manyame Sub-catchment Council. Alfred was appointed the Project Manager for the Greater Harare Groundwater Monitoring Pilot Project implemented in Zimbabwe with support from SADC-GMI and the World Bank. He also facilitated the establishment of the Zimbabwe Groundwater National Focal Group. Apart from that, Alfred has worked as a consultant on various water resources and environmental projects.
