Mrs. Phakamea is a certified chartered accountant with over 20 years’ experience. Prior to joining GWPSA, she worked in South Korea as Finance Specialist and later as Country Representative of the Global Green Growth Institute in Mozambique. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Cumbria and is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Francina has worked in various positions in Finance up to Finance and Support Services Director level and has worked for World Vision International, Opportunity International, Opportunity International Bank of Malawi, KPMG and Ernst & Young, her experience is mainly within Africa (DRC, Mozambique, RSA and Malawi) and Asia (South Korea).
Francina, a Malawian citizen, married to Eric and has three children (Lorraine, Arlene, and Benjamin). In her spare time, Francina likes to hike and explore new places.
Reporting to the GWPSA Executive Secretary and GWPO Finance, she will Head the GWPSA-ACU Finance and Administration department at the regional secretariat and across the SADC region.
