Tapiwa has over 10 years of experience in project accounting, reporting and external auditing. Tapiwa is responsible for managing the delivery of specialist finance services for GWPSA and the Africa Coordination Unit to ensure credible, efficient and effective regional network management and operations. Reporting to the Finance, Administration & Office Manager she manages the day to day finance and accounting transactions, develops project budgets and prepares financial reports for the organisation.
Tapiwa holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management from University of Greenwich, London; BSc. (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. She is an Associate Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Prior to joining GWP, she worked as an Accountant in International Catholic Migration Commission, Geneva (Switzerland) an NGO working in the areas of refugee and migration issues. She has also worked as a Project Accountant for Transparency International, an NGO based in Berlin, Germany and for over 4 years, worked as an External Auditor for Deloitte Malawi.
