On April 8th, 2019 at the Korea Global Adaptation Week, the Global Water Partnership (GWP) launched the publication “Addressing Water in National Adaptation Plans - Water Supplement to the UNFCCC NAP Technical Guidelines.”

GWP-C will participate in a regional Project Preparation Workshop for Climate Resilient Water Projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. The regional workshop is scheduled for July 2nd - 4th, 2019 in the Latin American region.

The Inter-American Network of Academies of Sciences (IANAS) has released a new publication entitled “Water Quality in the Americas: Risks and Opportunities.”

The 2nd Regional Conference of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) labelled project Governance & Financing for the Mediterranean Water Sector will be held on 5-6 December 2016, in Tunis, Tunisia, in synergy with the UfM’s Pollution Reduction & Prevention Investment (PRPI) Group.

He coordinates GEC’s work on lake and river management, pollution control and environmental education. Dr. Kalithasan has over 20 years of working experience in river ecosystem management, particularly on stakeholder engagement and environmental education.
