Kenneth Alfaro Alvarado is Project Cooridinator for Water Pollution Prevention at Nicoya Peninsula Waterkeeper in Costa Rica. The non-profit organisation has been a GWP Partner since 2013 - their motivation to join the GWP network was a wish to participate in the processes around Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). Mr. Chi Napoleon Forpah is the Coordinator of Watershed Task Group (WTG) in Cameroon. In this interview he describes their work and collaboration with GWP, which started in 2007. The interview is also available in French.

The 1st from the series focused on 'Monitoring ground & infrastructure movements from space' online webinar was held on 27 May 2021. The webinar was organized by GWP-SEA, in collaboration with Viromii and Detektia. Detektia S. L. is a spin-off of the Laboratory of Topography and Geomatics of the Civil Engineering School of the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM) and has been created with the aim of applying the DInSAR technique to problems of stability and maintenance of dams and road infrastructure. Detektia is a DInSAR based company that aspires to revolutionize the control and maintenance of large engineering works, helping to create safer, more efficient and more durable infrastructures.

The Consultation Framework of Non-State Actors in the Water and Sanitation Sector (CANEA) has succeeded in its advocacy, which began in 2013 and was strengthened in 2020 and 2021, thanks to the technical and financial support of NIYEL, with the vote by the National Assembly of Law No. 2022-04, on public hygiene in the Republic of Benin. Voted on Thursday 20 January 2022, this law replaces the old hygiene code dating from 1987.
