Call for Offers (08/2022/ADA) for the Development of a Project Document for the implementation of Precision Agriculture practices in Albania

The Climate-Land-Energy-Water (CLEWs) framework is a modelling tool for quantitative analysis of the Nexus between the biophysical systems of climate, land (including agriculture), energy and water.

LIMNOS is committed to the development and deployment of nature-based solutions for wastewater treatment and mitigation of pollution. It also serves as host institution of GWP Slovenia since the establishment of a country office in 2001. This interview describes the company and its partnership with GWP. 

The Union for the Mediterranean and SIDA funded ‘MENA Water Matchmaker II' project which is implemented by GWP-Med, is applying innovative nature-based Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus solutions in 6 farms in Jordan and Palestine in order to improve water management and enhance climate resilience in some of the most water scarce areas in the world.

In the fourth and final discussion, she talked to Hycinth Banseka and Julienne Roux about the issue of equal access to and control of resources. Banseka, who is Regional Coordinator for GWP Central Africa, says it is a complex issue in Africa, where the cultural context of each country demands different approaches, and where language and long-term thinking are key to progress.
