YVE Togo implementing the phase 2 of the #TonFuturTonClimat project in Togo has organised from 27 to 30 October 2021, the youth festival (Festival AgroBioCulture) which aims to promote agroecology among young people and farmers in Grand Kloto and to promote local consumption.

In 2020, Global Water Partnership (GWP) in collaboration with The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as the custodian agency, which coordinates reporting on SDG 6.5.1 indicator, together with UNEP-DHI Centre and Cap-Net, operates the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme, to support 60 countries in implementing the survey. For the PAN Asia region, the reports have successfully submitted and it is now the time to find out the lesson learned behind the process.
Climate change is getting worse. Floods, droughts and rising sea levels are threatening sanitation systems – from toilets to septic tanks to treatment plants. It is against this backdrop that World Toilet Day is celebrated on 19 November, raising awareness of the 4.2 billion people living without access to safely managed sanitation. In order to carry out an in-depth consultation with the main stakeholders of Benin on the indicators of the water investment monitoring systems (AIP SCORECARD and WASSMO), for the purpose of validating the data collected under the 2021-2022 review, the Water, Climate, Development and Gender Equality Programme (WACDEP G) implemented by the Benin Country Water Partnership (CWP BENIN) in collaboration with the Benin Water Directorate, organised the workshop for the validation of Benin's data in the African Water Investment Scorecard (AIP Scorecard) and the setting up of the national data collection platform for the WASSMO system indicators, at the SOSSA Hotel in Cotonou (Benin).
The World Meteorological Organisation (WMO), the Volta Basin Authority (VBA) and Global Water Partnership West Africa (GWP-WA), in collaboration with IUCN, organised and held six (6) national capacity building workshops for Volta Basin stakeholders on Nature-based Solutions for the development of bankable projects and the mobilisation of funding for their implementation in national and Volta Basin-wide portions.
