After taking part in the GWPO Working in Virtual Environment Training (WiVe) ahead of the Virtual Regional Days 2020 , Global Water Partnership Central Africa (GWP-CAf) decided to share the knowledge acquired during this training with all Country Water Partnerships within its network.

After almost five years since the initiation of the administrative process to change its legal status, Country Water Partnership, Cameroon (GWP-Cmr) is now an NGO following a Ministerial Decree n° 00000005 of April 1st 2020. This change in status brings along a number of advantages the possibility to seek direct funding from government ministries and related organizations in order to advance its mission of ensuring water security in Cameroon. Bucharest, 4 November 2021 - The Danube Floodplain project which was launched to examine how to reduce flood risk with the restoration of floodplains in the Danube River Basin comes to an end this November. The project partners presented the results of the project at a closing conference which was held online on 3-4 November 2021.

The Independent Dialogue on Advancing Water- Energy- Food (WEF) Nexus approaches to achieve food systems transformation in Central Asia convened by the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) was held online on 15 April 2021.
This dialogue is one of a series of multi-stakeholder dialogues that insights emerging from these meetings will be presented to the United Nations Food Systems Summit (UNFSS) in September 2021.
The Fourth Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers of the Mono Basin Authority (MBA) was held in Lomé on 21 January 2022, under the chairmanship of Mr. Bolidja TIEM, Minister for Water and Village Hydraulics of Togo, Chair of the MBA Council of Ministers, in the presence of his counterpart of Benin, Mr. Samou SEIDOU ADAMBI, Minister for Water and Mines.
The Mono Basin Authority (MBA) held its Ministerial council on January 15 virtually. This was preceded by the technical experts meeting with the participation of GWP-WA Executive Secretary in Cotonou from 12 to 14 January 2021.
