In 2020, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) began supporting the Government of the Dominican Republic (DR) to develop estimates of increased risk of flooding and landslides due to rainfall projections under climate change scenarios. This technical study was completed in the last quarter of 2020. It is one of a series of activities and outputs by GWP-C to inform the preparation of the country’s submission for the second round of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and is part of the Climate Action Enhancement Package (CAEP) from the NDC Partnership.
GWP will host, with partners, the Pan-Africa Capacity Building Workshop on International Water Law and Water Governance: for improved practices in transboundary water investments in Africa, in Entebbe, Uganda 19-23 September 2022.

The powers, from various standpoints, introduced their international water cooperation outcomes and highlights.
From 04 to 07 January 2022, the CWP Senegal (PNES) through its Chair has carried out a mission to Matam in the framework of the implementation of the component : "Hydro-agricultural development and protection of water resources", of the development program of the Dioulol watershed implemented by the National Company for the Development and Exploitation of the lands of the Senegal River Delta (SAED) through activities to fight against the silting up of the Dioulol river, which constitutes the source of water for a large number of perimeters including Hamady Ounaré and Orkadiérè rehabilitated during the first phase of the project.
Benin has developed its multi-sectoral National Adaptation Plan (NAP) which covers the eight most vulnerable development sectors, namely Water resources, Agriculture, Health, Energy, Forest ecosystems, Coastal zone, Infrastructures and urban development and, Tourism. This participatory development work benefited from the technical and financial support of GIZ and UNDP.
On 23rd of March, just after the World Water Day, GWP CEE was invited to organize a Communication for Development session at the World Youth Parliament for Water General Assembly event.
GWP China Senior TEC Advisor, Guoliang CHEN, former Chair of GWP China Fujian and member of the Standing Committee of the ninth Fujian Provincial People's Congress, donated his publication "Drink Water from The Same River - 23 Years of Water Sharing Between Fujian & Taiwan" to the Fujian-Taiwan Museum in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, late February 2022.
