The project in its design and implementation respects the rules and legal provisions that apply to the W Park zone and its buffer and influence zones, while developing and strengthening collaboration with the central and decentralised services in charge of the management of the W National Park.
Eau Vive Togo implementing its project to support young people in protecting the environment, water and soil (PAJPEES) has trained young men and women from 26 to 28 February 2019 in Danyi-Apéyéme on the compost production. To follow upon the training of the young agro-pastoralists, Eau Vive Togo gave to the beneficiary associations some inputs (chicken droppings and "Mycotri" boxes) for compost production.
The Central African Republic country water partnership (CWP-CAR) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the country’s Ministry in Charge of Water to facilitate collaboration between the two parties, to jointly promote the development and management of water resources through planning for and implementation of IWRM in the country.

World Water Day (WWD) is commemorated on 22 March every year. This year’s theme was “Leaving no one behind”. GWP and its Partners worldwide supported the theme by arranging a wide range of activities. To assess progress made in transboundary water cooperation in Cameroon, the Ministry of Water Resources and Energy in collaboration with UNESCO Regional Office for Central Africa and GWP Cameroon organized a two day multi-stakeholder consultation workshop in Mbalmayo, Cameroon from the 3 - 4 September 2020.
Prof Deepthi Wickramsinghe, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and a Member of South Asia Regional Steering Committee was one of the three equal winners of a competition launched seeking the best exploratory projects that demonstrate innovative approaches as solutions for water and sanitation, held at the 1st World Summit on “Leaving No One Behind”.
