Multi-stakeholder Dialogue on Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus in the North-Western Sahara Aquifer System concluded

On June 26, GWP-Med launched a new partnership with the city of Thessaloniki, Northern Greece, signing an MOU promoting sustainable urban water management. The first demo project to mark this partnership involves the construction of a sustainable, rainfed green wall.

The GCF is specifically mandated to promote country-driven, climate-resilient and low-carbon development. It is expected to become a primary channel through which international public climate finance will flow over time.

GWP requires the services of a consultant to support project development and research for project preparation partnership. The consultant will also contribute actively to GWP global WACDEP programme and support global climate policy processes and climate finance opportunities.

Within the GWP, the place of women is important. We believe that they are powerful catalysts for change even though they are often absent from decision-making processes about water management policies.
