In the face of profound global water challenges, on World Water Day 2018 five global multi-stakeholder partnerships representing business, governments, intergovernmental organisations, academia, and civil society organisations announced a new collaboration effort designed to accelerate progress toward ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation around the world. VIENNA, 10 October - A secondary school in Bosnia and Herzegovina has won the ‘International Danube Art Master 2017’ competition, announced Susanne Brandstetter, Chairperson of the Public Participation Expert Group of the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR). Ms. Brandstetter made the announcement yesterday at the House of the European Union in Vienna.
The global GWP secretariat in Stockholm seeks a consultancy for support to the formulation of GWP Strategy 2020-2025. The objective is to draft and finalise the GWP 2020-2025 Strategy document, in close coordination with the secretariat, via the design and implementation of a collaborative and consultative process involving key GWP stakeholders.
A workshop on the harmonized review of the Water, Environment, Urban Planning and State Domain Sector (SEEUDE) for the 2017 financial year was held on Thursday 3 May in Bamako. In attendance were all stakeholders from the sectors mentioned above.
